6 December 2024

A new step in localizing renewable energy production

China’s DAS Solar plans to build a 3 GW solar module plant in the Hauts-de-France region. The facility is expected to begin operations as early as 2025, making an important contribution to the development of local solar technology production in Europe.

The project reflects the growing interest of major Asian manufacturers in the European market, which is demonstrating high demand for solar panels. DAS Solar intends to use the latest technology to ensure high module efficiency and compliance with EU environmental standards.

The plant is expected to create hundreds of new jobs, which will also support the economic development of the region.
